Foothill PTO

The Foothill PTO’s goal is to offer support to parents, the administration and faculty to help enhance the opportunities for every student at Foothill High School. The PTO is funded by the Foothill Ed Fund. All donations to the Ed Fund of $40 or more receive a yearly family membership.

There are four main elements to our role:

INFORMATION – we strive to keep parents up to date with school events and opportunities to get involved through our PTO meetings, the PTO website, and PTO emails.

STUDENT RECOGNITION – we recognize student achievement at Honor Roll Socials, Order of the Knight Lunches, Academic Awards of Excellence, the Principal’s High Honor Roll Luncheon, Knights in Progress luncheons, Senior Awards, the Reflections assembly, and Senior scholarships.

STAFF APPRECIATION - we show our appreciation of the wonderful Foothill teachers at the luncheons we organize for Back-to-School, the Holidays, and Day of the Teacher. We also assist with setting up the Foothill tables at the Teacher of the Year dinner organized by Tustin Public School Foundation.

SUPPORT – we provide the people power and organizational capacity wherever and whenever it is needed on campus, from working at Registration, providing hospitality at school events, chaperoning dances, making copies, helping in the attendance office, organizing college and career events, assisting with Red Cross blood drives and vision and hearing screening, helping to coordinate the Every Fifteen Minutes drunk-driving prevention program, and running Grad Night for our seniors.
